Welcome to San Diego, California’s second largest city, where blue skies keep watch over 70 miles of majestic coastline and a gentle Mediterranean climate and friendly locals create a welcoming vibe all its own.
We spent a week seeing the sights, watching live sport and relaxing on the beaches.
Here are our 5 Essential Things To Do In San Diego:
Knowing very little about American Football I was determined to learn a few rules before seeing a live game and I’m so glad I did, I LOVED IT! I got goose bumps all over listening to the American national anthem and the flag being rolled out onto the pitch and watching everyone stand proud with their hand on their hearts. That’s one thing I really like about the states is everyone is so patriotic and its contagious.
Being an animal lover I am passionate about wildlife. The best place to see wildlife is in the wild but when you can’t do that, the next best thing is a zoo. Not any old zoo, as some are badly managed and the animals are poorly looked after, however I found San Diego Zoo to be different. Better than any other zoo I have been to including one of the better ones, Singapore Zoo.
